Tajar Time is a terrific way to introduce first time campers to the world of overnight camping. We take the same safe, loving, caring camp experience that we offer to our longer-term campers and extend it to our Tajar Time campers on a reduced schedule -- Sunday, July 27- Friday, August 8, 2008.

We offer a constructive, fun-filled time for your daughter with a sample of what is best in "spend the night" camping. The fun and excitement are geared toward the younger girls. Tajar Time is a time to explore, to grow, and to make new friends. There are camp fires, cookouts, and chances to try all sorts of new things! This is truly a marvelous time!

Activities will be similar to those of our regular camper sessions, and our counselors will personally assist campers in making activity choices based on their special interests. If we can help you in any way with questions or information, please feel free to call us.

* Please note that Tajar Time is for first time campers only ages 6-10 years old.
 

June 22nd-June 29th

Arden’s High Adventures gives the older camper the opportunity to deepen her love for the backwoods as well as hone her outdoor skills.  For AHA 2008 we will set out for Virginia and West Virginia to experience some of the best backpacking, rock climbing, and white water rafting the East has to offer. The highlights include backpacking in the Jefferson National Forest taking in part of the scenic Appalachian Trail, white water rafting down the Upper and Lower New River, and rock climbing in the New River Gorge. Members of our highly qualified outdoor staff will accompany the AHA group. In addition to her AHA tuition, travel arrangements to and from Glen Arden are the responsibility of the camper.
